In this poignant painting, I have endeavoured to capture the emotional journey of a young boy who has experienced profound loss. The brushstrokes convey a sense of raw vulnerability and anguish, as the boy's world crumbles around him. The colours used reflect the darkness and turmoil of his inner turmoil, with deep blues and greys dominating the palette. Symbolism is employed to represent the shattered fragments of his former life, scattered and fragmented like broken glass. Yet, amidst the pain, there is a glimmer of hope.
